In an ideal world, this would be the future of the movie industry:

I’ve seen this on the Trailer to Color me Kubrick.

According to IMDB, this is a 2005/2006 (they aren’t entirely clear on that) Film, so it seems to be a re-release. But what would speak against releasing a movie at the same date in the cinema, on DVD and for download? As long as you make sure that people pay for your content, why care about the way they consume it? I am certain that making content available can be one of the key strategies to fight piracy – and not crappy ads. Because pirated movies have one very big advantage over many legal offerings: Availability.
